Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Range Tracer ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of Range Tracer (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to access the Service in your jurisdiction to use it. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that any firearm activity you record complies with all laws applicable to you.

3. Description of the Service

The Service lets you log shooting range sessions, upload target images, and receive automatically generated shot-placement analytics (such as accuracy and precision metrics) produced by machine-learning models. These analytics are estimates generated by automated image analysis and may contain errors.

4. Account Registration

You access the Service by signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly at support@rangetracer.com of any unauthorized use.

5. User Content and License

You retain ownership of the session data, images, and other content you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload your User Content and that it does not infringe or violate any third party's rights or applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

violate any applicable firearms, range-safety, or other law or regulation; upload content depicting illegal firearm modifications, illegal activity, or that involves minors; upload content you do not have the right to share; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service's automated analysis systems.

7. Firearms and Safety Disclaimer

The Service is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It is not a safety device, is not designed for use during live fire, and does not substitute for certified firearms instruction, a Range Safety Officer, or your own judgment and compliance with range rules and applicable law. You are solely responsible for the safe and lawful handling, storage, and use of any firearm, regardless of anything shown in the Service.

8. No Warranty

The Service, including any shot analytics, scoring, or automated image analysis, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Analytics are for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or reliable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Range Tracer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service, including any injury, loss, or damage resulting from firearm use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Range Tracer from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service, and request deletion of your account, at any time by contacting support@rangetracer.com.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (such as an in-app notice or updating the "Last updated" date). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
